Nike exhibition of contemporary art
An exhibition of contemporary art, organized by Nike and cyclist Lance Armstrong was opened the 17th of July in Paris. It passed within the boundscof the art project STAGES, organized in support of Lance Armstrong charitable foundation against cancer.
Twenty contemporary artists presented a unique works for the future auction, which will be held in September of this year in the United States. The realize finance will go to the foundation against cancer, created by L. Armstrong.
One of the strongest riders of the world is the seven-time winner of the prestigious race Le Tour de France from 1999-2005. And despite the fact that in 1996 Armstrong himself discovered the cancer, which had already metastasized spread throughout the body. Thanks to the latest treatments and chemotherapy, he not only defeated the disease, but also managed to become one of the greatest athletes of the world.
The bicycle racer fund has repeatedly attracted the attention of world public opinion, and its new initiative promises to be the most sensational social program of the year.
