The collection of American Jay Hendricks, who collected video and related accessories, was enriched by a rare cartridge Nintendo, which cost an impressive 17.5 thousand dollars to the collector.
The initial value of the gold cartridge Nintendo World Championship, placed on the online auction eBay, was 25 thousand dollars, but nobody could buy even a collector cartridge for such high amount. As a result, Hendricks became the owner of the Nintendo World Championship for a few less amount.
The cartridges Nintendo World Championship have been released in 1990 in the amount of 116 copies, the holders of which have become players of the championship of videogames Nintendo World Championships. Among the 116 cartridges, only 26 cartridges were covered with a special gold paint, the rest of them had the standard grey colour.
