Cult glove of Michael Jackson
In the next few months all sorts of auctions to be flood by a huge number of memorable things, one way or another connected with the deceased Michael Jackson.
One of them will be an iconic glove of pop-idol embroidered with sequins, one of the most recognizable accessories of Jackson. During his long musical career, Michael Jackson has replaced a lot of white gloves, but only one glove, which the singer wore during the concert tour Victory Tour in 1984 will reach a record high price at the Profiles in History auction, which will be held in October of this year.
Glove in duplicate was created by Ted Schell, who manually embroidered this accessory by sequins, crystals and 50 miniature lights, powered by 9-Volt batteries in a collar. After the end of Victory Tour, Michael Jackson has left himself one of two gloves, and the second gave to Shelley.
Auction experts estimate the accessory about 60 – 80 thousand dollars, but they are almost sure that the final price of the glove will be much higher.
