Michael Jackson’s death and rise of prices on collectible objects

While the whole world mourns for the untimely deceased pop-king Michael Jackson, some enterprising collectors already make profit out the headlong rise of prices on collectible objects associated with the name of singer.

At the beginning of this year, the Julien’s Auctions had to conduct a sale of items belonging to Michael Jackson – the portraits, Rolls Royce, the costumes. At the last minute the auction was canceled on Michael Jackson’s initiative, and now, with his death even the catalogues of cancelled auction may become the subject of collecting.

The rapidly enhanced collectible objects remaining after Jackson’s death have flooded EBay Auction. But Joe Orlando, the president of PSA/DNA Authentication Services, warns that most of them may prove forgery: «This happens every time when eminent stars of Hollywood, sport or policy die». «On-line auctions and flea markets flooded with autographs of Michael Jackson, and many collectors do not even know exactly what they buy». Michael Jackson, unlike other celebrities, rarely spoiled their fans with autographs.

Nice blog at luxuryxpression.com. Michael Jackson was a great pop star. I just read that the Texas Medical Board has restricted the doctor charged in Michael Jackson’s death from administering the drug authorities say was responsible for killing the pop star.
